Team Lead, Affluent Clients
Description
Responsible for providing exceptional service and tailored investment solutions. Guides supports and ensures the team of financial advisors delivers personalized wealth management services that align with the client’s financial goals and objectives. Optimizes client portfolios, cultivating relationships with affluent clients, driving AUM growth, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Reviews, analyzes, and restructures clients’ portfolios on an ongoing basis to facilitate compliance with the model portfolio in the context of the assessed clients’ needs and risk tolerances.
- Understands the Affluent client’s personas to determine investment strategies for meeting their investment objectives/needs.
- Guides team members towards achieving growth in AUM for the Asset Management via targeted sales tactics.
- Promotes and ensures an increase in the Affluent client’s acquisition, retention, and development through effective relationship management.
- Prepares periodic Management Information reports as needed.
- Identifies potential products and services that would be beneficial to the Affluent Clients
- Contributes to new product development to meet identified client’s needs e.g., fixed income and equity investing, retirement and estate planning, tax strategies, mutual fund and money investments management, philanthropic vehicles, mortgages, employee benefits for businesses, etc.
- Attends select events to network with Affluent clients and prepare pitch decks where necessary.
- Participates in the continuous strategic development of the Affluent Sales operating model for optimal performance.
- Complies with KYC (Know Your Customer) rules and regulations and keeps abreast of new regulations or policies governing the business/financial service industry that may affect earnings and the investment portfolio.
- Ensures unit profitability by closely monitoring product utilization and transaction activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or other related courses from a reputable and accredited university.
- Professional certifications are an added advantage.
Knowledge Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of wealth management concepts, including asset allocation, portfolio diversification, risk management, tax planning, and retirement planning.
- Proficiency in analyzing financial markets, economic indicators, and investment trends.
- Demonstrated knowledge of laws, regulations, and compliance requirements governing the financial service industry.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools, portfolio management software, CRM, and Microsoft Office suite.
Experience
- Minimum of 6- 8 years’ experience in HNI (High Net worth Individual) Sales.
- Proven experience in Sales and Business Development.
- Strong network of High Net-worth Individuals/ Ultra High Net-worth Individuals.
- Proven track record of successfully managing affluent client relationships and driving business growth.
