Assistant Architect (Design and visualisation)
Description

Assists project architects and design leads in developing design concepts and detailed architectural solutions, primarily through advanced modelling and visualization tools, supplemented by comprehensive technical drawings and documentation where required.

Responsibilities
  • Develops architectural illustrations, visual concepts, and presentation materials in line with project briefs.
  • Produces high-quality 2D and 3D visuals to support design proposals, competitions, and client presentations.
  • Creates renderings, walkthroughs, and animations.
  • Interprets architectural drawings, sketches, and models into clear visual outputs.
  • Works closely with Project Architects and design teams to ensure visuals align with design intent.
  • Updates illustrations and visual materials based on design reviews and client feedback.
  • Supports multiple projects simultaneously while meeting agreed timelines.
  • Utilizes illustration and design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Maintains organized project files and version control.
  • Participates in internal design reviews and coordination meetings.
  • Collaborates effectively with architects, designers, and consultants.
  • Ensures all visual outputs meet quality, branding, and presentation standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field from a reputable university.
  • Master’s degree in architecture or a related field is an advantage.
Knowledge Requirements
  • Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp and AutoCAD.
  • Skilled in D5 Render or similar real-time rendering software (Twinmotion), Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
  • Knowledge of AI tools for modelling and visualization is an advantage.
