Project Architect
Description

Responsible for leading the design and development of architectural projects from concept to completion. Oversee the creative process and ensures design excellence across all project phases. Manages project teams, coordinates with clients and stakeholders, and develops technical drawings, models, and presentations. Conducts site inspections, ensures compliance with regulatory standards, and delivers projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.

Responsibilities
  • Designs and develops architectural projects from concept to completion.
  • Collaborates with the team to brainstorm creative solutions and ideas.
  • Manages and supervises a team of architectural assistants and interns.
  • Collaborates and manages project stakeholders to achieve project deliverables.
  • Develops and maintains project documentation, including drawings, models, presentations, and schedules.
  • Conducts site visits, inspects, and analyzes site conditions, and develops reports.
  • Participates in design meetings, workshops, and other project-related events.
  • Ensures compliance with local building codes, health and safety standards, and international best practices.
  • Supports business development by contributing to project proposals, bids, and client presentations when required.

 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field from a reputable university.
  • Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Membership in professional Architectural organization such as ARCON/RIBA/AIA.
Skills
  • Knowledge of 3D illustration skills in interior designs exterior and interior architecture schemes.
  • Skilled in producing detailed drawings, working/technical drawings, and specification production.
  • Experienced in sitework supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Autodesk Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.
  • Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM).
  • Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building practices.

Experience
  • Minimum of six (6) years’ work experience in an Architectural practice.
  • Experience working on diverse project types (e.g., residential, commercial, institutional, or mixed-use developments) will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
